Keynote - Hotel Industry Update In 2020, the hotel industry was caught in the crossfire of the pandemic response, ranging from complete national shutdowns to conditional border reopening's to mandatory quarantines. Group hotel demand fell sharply as meetings and group events were cancelled, and international travel came to a halt. Fast forward to today and transient demand is very healthy meanwhile group recovery is underway.
